The plains of Odamar are home to the nomadic tent dwellers. The people of the plains are a proud group with a rather unique sense of humor. The plains are a harsh environment, with little water or trees. The nomadic tribes living there use hides and bones from their prey for tools, shelter and clothing. A camp is generally centered around the communal fire pit and sweat lodges, with personal tents circled around them.
Loden
Loden, while not the largest tribe, is the largest single trading tribe with non-plainsmen. The Loden tribesman are protective of their own, but always welcome traders with open arms.
Important Figures
Kelton - Head Man of Loden. Kelton is a large, jovial man. He has been Head Man of the Loden since the tribe elected him as such.
Tieg - Therian (lion) Alpha of Loden. A leonine therianthrope, Tieg is the head hunter and war leader of the tribe, and as such Kelton's right hand. From that position, he maintains a watch on the various therianthropes of the plains.
Bella - Air Fae; tribe’s healer. Bella is a three hundred year old air fae. For an air fae, she is remarkably laid back, though she has her moments.

The Loden Tribe The camp's fire blazed brilliantly, flames and shadow performing an elaborate dance over the tribe and tents surrounding it. The tribe members sprawled around the fire pit in various stages of relaxation, save a group of children gathered around the tribe's healer. She wove tales for the children, each a tapestry of words to sink into their hearts and minds, illustrating lessons learned and foes fought. The adults enjoyed the brief reprieve, finishing their evening meals. Closest to the fire, the head man and woman of the tribe sat cross-legged, watching over the members of the tribe. Kelton leaned against his woman, a slow contented sigh trickling from him. The small, kindly woman glanced to him, perking an eyebrow with a small smile. "Should we retire, Kelton?" Sharing her smile, Kelton pursed his lips slightly, his eyes passing over the fire and the children gathered about the healer, Bella. Shifting to slip an arm around her, Kelton leaned closer to offer a sly grin. "To the sweat lodges, then to our own tent, hmm Illis?" he asked archly. Rising, he extended a hand to help her up. His attention turned to the couple resting just beside him. "Tieg?" The man looked up to Kelton, sprawled on one side and propped up on one elbow. He yawned lazily and smiled, shaking his head slightly as his arm tightened around the nervous looking woman leaning against him. "No, I think we'll remain and watch the fire. Enjoy yourself, my Head Man," he answered, before inclining his head to Illis, smiling. "And you, Head Woman." Kelton chuckled, an arm encircling the small head woman, to lead her to the sweat lodges as she flashed Tieg a smile. Already, the hunter was shifting to settle more comfortably beside his mate to oversee the care of the fire and watch the tribe's activities.

Windscar as the young air Fae bathes in the middle of the nordak river he thinks to him self " this night has been one of my best" as he looks towards the girl who was downing the last of the elderberry wine he smiled. She was not the best of the ladies in the caravan of travelers but she would suet him just fine for the first of the night then he would have his way with her older sister and if there was still enough time before sunrise he could have his way with that young stable boy. "huh this is going to be a really good night" Said the young man as he got out of the river where he had been bathing
