Moriah Kid Moriah enjoyed the feeding, with all the ceremony of having domesticated Shetan. She lounged across his lap, making content little noises until he moved and shifted around, leaving her to sit there on her haunches while he moved about and then reclaimed his seat against his pack... to which she promptly sprawled across his lap with a huff, as if annoyed that he'd moved and she was forced to move and make herself comfortable again before promptly curling up in his lap, batting his chest with her tail in a firm and definitive 'mine' gesture. She was idly considering changing her plans, her sister would be quite alright on her own. She was better suited for the city than Moriah ever was. Kid, on the other hand was tossing and turning in her sleep as if beset by demons. Stress, and the pain in her leg made sleeping difficulty, even if it wasn't sound sleep she'd prefer it over not having had any. The covers lay tangled around her feat with her sprawled half on and half off the small cot.

Shetan Shetan spent the remainder of the day lounging in the tent and occasionally dozing. His human companion's rest was not as peaceful as his and Moriah's. She tossed and turned on her bedding, tangling her covers in her slumber. At one point, the therian male had moved to rest his wrist and the back of his hand against her forehead, wondering if she was fevered. Shaking his head with a grumble, he had retreated back to his own bedding and sprawled over it, leaving only enough space for the little fox to join him if she wished. Morning arrived and Shetan rose to pack away his bedding, after nudging Moriah aside. Once his own belongings were packed, the therian turned his attention to Kid. He shook her arm carefully. "Alright, Kid. Time to wake now. I want to see that leg," he said, his voice seeming to hold a near rumble to it.

Moriah, Kid Moriah would flop aside when Shetan nudged her aside, the small vixen loved her sleep so awakening was more or less accepted in stride, her tail swatting Shetan before she settled down and watched him. Kids eyes snapped open as Shetan woke her before they closed again with a light groan of annoyance, "No... " She wasn't a morning girl, obviously. When he told her he wanted to see her leg she grimaced and untangled herself from the covers with a grumble,"I hate the mornings..." offering up the leg for the larger males insection shed eye the tender, only slightly swollen ankle. It wouldn't hinder her too badly, shed just be a bit slow as the muscles mended,"Good morning, by the way. Slept great..." And grumpy too...

Shetan Kid woke readily enough to Shetan's proddings, but shut her eyes back tight with a groan. The big man's lips quirked with a smirk at her denial. When he voiced his desire to see her leg she worked to free herself from her covers, albeit grumbling about the morning. Shetan was no fonder of early mornings, but he doubted it would be wise to keep more natural hours for himself. Shetan took her foot in his hand carefully, lifting it from the bedding. He explored the injury with a surprisingly gentle touch before replacing her foot to the bed. ""Glad to hear it. We still have some traveling to do before we reach the Nordak and start trying to find a good place to cross," Shetan replied, moving to rest on his heels. "Still bringing the tent?"

Kid, Moriah Kid lifted her arm from over her eyes, giving the larger male a perked eyebrow, "No. Because Im not in the mood to drag it. And its not mine anymore anyways. Im taking what I can carry, and im gone." The bruise over her cheek was mostly gone now. Just a slight bit of redness around her cheek. Shed swing her legs around and plant them on the floor, stripping as she made her way to her clothes, dropping the tunic atop a chirping and barking Moriah. Obviously the little fox was displeased at having her slumber which shed slipped back into disturbed. She apparently wasn't a morning gal either. Kids hand running over her ears while she dressed 'settled' the little bundle of russet fur. Once shed gotten dressed she set about packing things she absolutely needed. Which meant her traveling pack was dragged.from under he bed and stuffed with tigtly rolled cloths, her bedroll and the foodstuffs shed purchased earlier. When all was said and done she was perched atop it, one leg tucked under her as she gnawed on a strip of dried meat,"I know we're headed to the Nordak, what's really beyond it that has you pressing further? Or will I likely find that out along the way as a surprise?" Moriah yawned as she glanced about, the girl was a whirlwind of activity once she set about her tasks, leaving Moriah to curl up on the bed. They weren't leaving yet, and she was in no hurry to give in to the demand that she.stay awake.

Shetan Shetan regarded the young woman for a moment as she did him, perking one eyebrow as well at her change of heart. "Did you trade it? Or are you simply avoiding confrontation?" he asked, a faint smirk forming on his lips. A part of him unreasonably hoped that it was avoidance. He would dismantle the thing himself and gladly watch for someone to question him. Shetan paused, then tried to banish the thought from his mind. He didn't need to draw attention to himself. No matter how he longed to scuffle with someone. Anyone. He was satisfied with the look of her leg and moved aside to give her room to rise from her cot. Since his few belongings were packed, he simply watched her as she went about dressing and gathering her own things. She finished and perched on her things to eat a bit of breakfast, inquiring about their destination. Shetan gave a non-committal sound and shrugged his shoulders. "We'll cross the Nordak and see what comes of things. I'll know the right place when I find it," he noted. "Are you ready then? And you, little trickster?"

Kid, Moriah Kid paused as she ate and cleared her throat softly, "Avoidance. A number of things came to light, that I didn't like." She was naive, and young still and trying to look worldly and knowledgeable. Her tribe had crushed that easily, "They think my place is better served here than learning the world beyond the tribes borders." She'd shrug, and rub her cheek lightly before raising up and hefting her pack, "I'm ready when you are. I'm not interested in the politics of the tribe, I just wanna see the world." Doesn't every kid? Moriah raised her head up slowly, she wouldn't be getting her sleep after all it would seem. Stretching and making a great deal of fuss about it to make her displeasure known she'd hop off the cot and fluff her tail with a chirp before nosing around the tent flap and then slipping out to wait for the two.
